Memories and Reflections (Part 1)

For me, to feel Lebanese is to be one with the air. One whiff of the air, and the eyes close, taking in a lot more than just the air.
The air is bittersweet in Spring and Autumn. In winter a waft of fresh coffee floats to excite your tired soul. Sometimes it’s the neighbors’ incense burning and you feel someone cares about something, about someone. You take a deep breath and you care too.

Finding inner Peace

Gratitude is
Awesome.
Money is
a small factor in
happiness…
Wealth is
finding what is
really important.
We learn to prioritize
and find peace…
the real Joy in life…
Amen!!

Haiku 5-7-5

I love flowers bright

I touch them with a warm smile

They sparkle shiny

Sweetly they bloom on

The sweet scent fills the breezes

I’m in heaven now

Heaven is a place

Where the spirit dwells in peace

I float happily

Haiku 5-7-5

I hear a bird’s song

I look to see where he is

Then I see sweet bird

His song is music

His notes bring joy and sweet glee

I am happy now

He flies away, then

I am alone with my thoughts

I wonder once more
